Following Vocational training at the same University in 2003, she came to the UK where she worked in General Practice. In 2009, she obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Paediatric Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London.
Since 2009, she has held two Clinical Teacher positions at King’s College Hospital dental institute London, where she continues teach Acute Dental Care and Paediatric Dentistry to undergraduate students and treat patients in the departments of Paediatric Dentistry and Primary Care.
During this time she has developed a special interest and passion in Paediatric dentistry and she strongly believes in preventive and minimally invasive treatment. She enjoys all aspects of aesthetic dentistry including placement of white fillings and crowns, veneers, whitening and teeth straightening with invisible braces.
Raffaela’s expertise lies also in treating patients that have anxiety about going to the dentist and any form of dental trauma. She is committed to continuous professional development and is a member of the British Society of Paediatric Dentistry.
Raffaela speaks English, Italian, basic Spanish and French. She is also married and has four children.
